Wallpaper - Coastal Palms, Grass

Our Coastal Palms, Grass wallpaper pairs illustrated palm trees with swirling, dash-like mark-making across a warm cream backdrop. Created by RNM Arts, this design uses soft olive and grass-green tones to depict swaying palms and loose palm fronds, giving the repeating pattern an airy, breezy rhythm. The textured linework and two-tone palette create a light, illustrative character that brings natural movement to an interior without feeling visually heavy. Like all our wallpapers, this mural wallpaper is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working beautifully in a bedroom, where the gentle repetition of the palms establishes a serene and grounding presence behind a headboard. Because the pattern uses a light cream background and restrained green tones, it sits comfortably across all four walls of a smaller guest room or study without overwhelming the space.

In a hallway or dining area, the upward curve of the palm fronds and the swirling dashed lines create vertical flow, drawing the eye upward and helping compact entryways or standard-height ceilings feel more open. The design also performs well on a feature wall in a sunlit living room, where natural daylight brings out the varied density of the green linework.

Styling it

The light, illustrative nature of this design makes it easy to balance with understated furnishings. We would pair it with pale wooden pieces, such as light ash or bleached birch, to echo the relaxed coastal mood of the palms.

For textiles, simple natural fabrics in warm off-white, oat, or unbleached linen keep the overall room calm and let the palm motif remain the primary pattern. You can introduce a little contrast with subtle woven textures in rugs or cushions, while avoiding busy competing prints that might clash with the swirling background details.

Colour combinations

The design itself features soft grass green, light olive, and a warm cream background.

When choosing paint colours for surrounding woodwork, skirting, or adjoining walls, we suggest matching the cream tone from the wallpaper base to maintain a seamless, warm envelope. For trim, doors, or built-in cabinetry, a muted moss green or dusty olive provides a handsome tonal accent that ties directly back to the palm fronds. If you prefer a lighter contrast, a gentle chalky white or warm stone shade keeps the surrounding palette crisp and fresh.
