Wallpaper - Cranberry Flats

Our Cranberry Flats wallpaper mural captures an expansive desert landscape painted in warm, grounded tones. Soft white clouds drift across an open sky above sweeping terrain rendered in shades of beige, warm sienna brown, and deep red, accented by subtle touches of dark green vegetation along distant low hills. Created by Haley Knighten, the design features visible oil paint brushstroke textures that lend artistic movement and depth to the vista. Like all Wallism wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to your dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

In a living room, we would place this mural wallpaper across the main uninterrupted wall, allowing the broad horizon and open sky to establish a calm visual anchor. The horizontal composition and expansive perspective work particularly well behind a low sofa or credenza, where the painted terrain provides visual warmth at eye level while the open sky draws the view upward. In a dedicated meditation room or quiet sitting area, the tranquil earth tones and painted landscape character create an enveloping backdrop without overwhelming the space.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this design with contemporary or organic modern interiors that echo its natural warmth. Low-profile furniture in light or warm wood tones balances the painterly texture across the wall, while upholstery in off-white, taupe, or soft woven textures keeps the focus on the landscape. Matte ceramic accents and simple silhouette lighting complement the oil paint aesthetic without competing with the detailed brushwork.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on an earthy palette of sienna brown, warm beige, and muted dark red, offset by the pale tones of the sky and small accents of deep green. To complement these shades, we suggest using warm off-whites or soft sand tones on adjacent painted walls and woodwork. If you want to introduce deeper contrast, rich terracotta or deep olive green accents in cushions, throws, or decorative objects pick up the subtle undertones found within the painted terrain.
