Wallpaper - Cheeky Cheetah I

Our Cheeky Cheetah I wallpaper brings a playful, decorative character to the wall with its illustrated scene created by artist Yvette St. Amant. The design centres on a spotted big cat lounging across a tufted light blue sofa, surrounded by potted greenery, patterned gold and olive wallpaper details, and an ornate framed picture behind. Painted-style brush strokes give the artwork a charming, painterly texture, while the rich contrast between soft cornflower blue, warm ochre, and deep olive creates a distinct focal point. Like all our wallpapers, this mural is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of its pictorial composition and central subject, we see this design working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, dining room, or a vibrant bedroom. In a larger living space, placing the mural on an uninterrupted wall allows the full illustrative setting to unfold naturally without being crowded. It also makes an engaging backdrop behind a low-backed bed or opposite a dining table, where the personality of the artwork can set a relaxed, eccentric tone for the room. For compact areas such as a dressing room or study, using the design on one key wall gives the space plenty of visual interest without overwhelming the floor plan.

Styling it

When styling around this mural wallpaper, we suggest leaning into its vintage, slightly eclectic charm. Furniture with soft curves or mid-century silhouettes complements the shape of the painted sofa in the motif, while warm wood finishes such as walnut or mid-toned oak echo the golden tones in the background. Keeping larger surrounding upholstery relatively simple in solid colours lets the detailed artwork remain the primary focus of the room.

To balance the playful nature of the design, consider incorporating decorative accents in aged brass or antique gold, mirroring the painted picture frame in the scene. Adding real potted indoor plants nearby helps tie the botanical elements from the wallpaper directly into the physical room.

Colour combinations

The palette within our design pairs a serene light blue and warm ochre with olive greens, deep berry pinks, and dark rosette spotting. For adjacent walls and surrounding trim, you can pull directly from these shades. A soft, dusty blue or a warm off-white creates a harmonious and bright backdrop that allows the mural to stand out. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, deeper tones like olive green, warm ochre, or subtle raspberry accents on soft furnishings pick up the detailed colours in the artwork beautifully.
