Wallpaper - Sweet Season I

Our Sweet Season I wallpaper by Beth Grove captures a classic Christmas scene with a warm, storybook character. Santa Claus waves from a green and grey sleigh patterned with delicate snowflakes, guided by two reindeer adorned with golden bells and holly. Clad in a traditional brown suit with white trim, Santa travels with an evergreen Christmas tree and neatly wrapped presents, set against an eggshell white, snowy ground beneath festive green "Merry Christmas!" script. The soft, watercolour-inspired look and gentle holiday palette give this design an inviting, nostalgic charm. Produced to your exact dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, our wallpapers are easy to hang and made to bring seasonal character to your walls.

In the room

Because of the storybook narrative and illustrative detail across the scene, we see this wall mural working especially well on a main feature wall where the full composition can unfold without interruption. In a living room or dining room, positioning the wallpaper behind low furniture, like a sofa or a sideboard, keeps Santa, his reindeer, and the festive script clearly in view. It is also an enchanting choice for children's bedrooms, playrooms, and nurseries, where the friendly figures and detailed sleigh can spark holiday imagination at eye level. For entryways and hallways, this mural wallpaper sets an immediate welcoming tone as soon as guests step through the front door.

Styling it

To complement the nostalgic illustrative style, we would surround the wallpaper with simple, understated furnishings that let the festive artwork take centre stage.

• Pair the scene with natural, warm wood furniture such as pine or oak, which echoes the rustic, cottage-inspired feel of Santa's sleigh and reindeer.
• Incorporate cosy textiles like chunky knitted throws, soft wool cushions, or simple linen drapes in neutral cream and off-white tones to mirror the snowy backdrop.
• Add understated decorative accents in brushed brass or antique gold, echoing the reindeer bells without overwhelming the room.

Colour combinations

The design is built on a quiet, light eggshell white ground accented by soft greens, warm browns, muted greys, and touches of gold. When choosing paint colours and finishes for adjacent walls, woodwork, and architraves, we recommend soft off-whites and pale stone shades to maintain a bright, cohesive look. If you want to draw out the deeper tones of the illustration, a muted forest green or warm chestnut brown on skirting boards, doors, or feature cabinetry creates a grounded, tailored frame around the mural.
