Wallpaper - Timeworn Timber

Our Timeworn Timber wallpaper captures the rustic character of reclaimed vertical wooden planks, complete with visible grain, knots, and weathered surface details. The design brings together an earthy spectrum of warm honey tones, deep walnut browns, weathered greys, and faded charcoal planks arranged side by side in varying widths. This variation creates a rich, textured rhythm across the wall that feels organic rather than strictly uniform. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, dining space, or bedroom. Because the vertical planks introduce a strong upward line, the wallpaper naturally adds height to rooms with standard ceilings while grounding open-plan layouts.

In a dining room or behind a headboard in a bedroom, the rich mix of wood tones provides an instant focal point that gives the room warmth and architectural presence. For wider living room walls, the varied rhythm of light and dark planks keeps the surface visually engaging without overwhelming the surrounding space.

Styling it

Because the pattern carries substantial visual texture and warmth, we recommend balancing it with clean-lined furniture and simple silhouettes. Mid-century modern pieces, contemporary industrial accents, or relaxed rustic furnishings all pair naturally with the timber motif.

To keep the room feeling balanced, we would avoid overly ornate timber furniture that directly competes with the plank pattern. Instead, opt for upholstered pieces in neutral woven fabrics or matte black metal accents that echo the darker, charcoal planks within the wallpaper.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper contains a versatile palette of warm amber, golden oak, rich dark brown, weathered ash grey, and muted charcoal.

When choosing paint colours for adjacent walls or trim, we recommend picking up on the softer, lighter tones from the pattern. Warm off-whites, soft stone neutrals, and pale warm greys create a seamless transition around the room. For a bolder, moodier scheme in a dining area or study, a deep charcoal or rich forest green on neighbouring walls will enhance the depth of the darker planks.
