Wallpaper - Volver II

Designed by June Erica Vess, our Volver II wallpaper brings a gentle, abstract presence to the wall through sweeping organic curves and translucent watercolour washes. A large, softly textured circular form in warm blush pink anchors the composition, framed by layered sweeps of mossy olive green, muted yellow, lilac, and accents of rose and slate blue against a calm neutral ground. The painterly brushstrokes and delicate gradients give the piece a relaxed, artistic feel that works beautifully on an accent wall. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of the broad scale and generous rounded shape in this design, we particularly like using Volver II in a living room, bedroom, or a quiet dining area. In an open living space, placing the wallpaper behind a low-backed sofa or along a main accent wall allows the expansive colour fields and curving contours to be viewed from across the room. In a bedroom, the soft pink and earthy green tones create a restful backdrop behind a bed frame. For spaces with smaller, broken wall sections, the pattern still introduces warm colour, but it is on wider, relatively uninterrupted walls that the flowing composition feels most balanced.

Styling it

When styling around Volver II, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture shapes relatively simple and organic to complement the fluid linework of the mural. Low-profile seating in neutral linen, bouclé, or woven upholstery lets the artwork remain the focal point without competing for attention.

To echo the natural palette, introduce warm woods such as light oak or ash, alongside matte ceramic accents and soft, unpatterned drapery. Under soft morning daylight or warm diffused evening lamps, the layered washes of colour feel especially warm and inviting.

Colour combinations

Our Volver II wallpaper is built around a gentle core of dusky blush pink, moss green, and soft chartreuse yellow, accented with lilac, raspberry rose, and touches of blue-grey against an off-white background.

When selecting colours for adjoining walls, woodwork, or larger furnishings, consider these complementary directions:

• Tonal neutrals: Soft off-white, warm plaster, or pale stone on surrounding walls will allow the mural to blend quietly into the room.
• Earthy greens: Muted olive, moss, or sage green accents on painted trim or upholstered chairs pick up the curved green contour beautifully.
• Warm accents: Deeper terracotta, dusty rose, or muted ochre cushions and throws connect naturally with the warmer brushstrokes.
