Wallpaper - Spring Pink I

Created in collaboration with Pamela Munger, our Spring Pink I wallpaper brings an expressive, painterly floral still life to the wall. The composition captures a bowl of soft blooms with the fluid, layered look of transparent watercolour washes, blending gentle rose pinks, muted sunny yellows, warm peach, and earthy sage and olive greens against an off-white paper-like ground. Subtle variations in pigment density give the floral shapes a soft, bleeding edge that feels spontaneous and airy. Like all our wallpapers, this mural design is made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

With its upright still-life composition and gentle watercolour character, we see this wall mural working particularly well as an accent wall in a bedroom or dining space. Placing it behind a bedhead or on the main wall of a dining room gives the floral arrangement room to stand out without competing with surrounding architectural features. Because the design has an open, painterly feel with plenty of light in the background, it also works well in smaller rooms, such as a dressing room, guest bedroom, or study, where you want to introduce colour and pattern without making the space feel closed in. In spaces with good natural daylight, the delicate shifts between the pink washes and soft yellow tones become especially clear.

Styling it

We would pair this mural wallpaper with quiet, understated furniture that lets the soft painted forms remain the focus. Warm, lighter wood tones like ash or pale oak work beautifully alongside the earthy greens and sandy neutral tones in the lower half of the design.

For surrounding furnishings and textiles, simple woven fabrics in natural unbleached tones or soft beige help ground the pink and yellow florals without adding competing patterns. Keeping large furniture pieces relatively low in height ensures that the bowl and flowering stems stay visible across the wall.

Colour combinations

The design itself features soft rose pink, pastel yellow, warm peach, and muted olive and sage greens, anchored by a neutral greyish-brown pedestal bowl and a pale watercolour background.

When choosing colours for adjacent walls, woodwork, or built-in joinery, we suggest working with warm off-whites or soft stone shades that echo the light background tone. If you prefer a richer contrast, a muted olive green or soft terracotta taken from the floral accents creates an inviting, harmonious balance across the room.
