Wallpaper - Whisper Shoreline II

Created by June Erica Vess, our Whisper Shoreline II wallpaper captures an expressive coastal landscape rendered with fluid, painted brushstrokes. The composition balances an airy, atmospheric sky in soft sky blue and off-white with textured, sweeping strokes of slate grey, sandy beige, muted blush, and charcoal along the rocky shore. What we particularly appreciate about this mural wallpaper is the painterly movement and gentle horizon line, bringing an open, tranquil atmosphere to interior walls. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it is straightforward to hang and adapts naturally to your room dimensions.

In the room

We see this wall mural working especially well on a wide, uninterrupted feature wall where the horizontal sweep of the coastal horizon can be appreciated in full. In a living room behind a low-profile sofa or in a bedroom behind a headboard, the lighter upper section helps keep the upper wall open, while the grounding strokes anchor the lower half. The soft palette also makes it a natural fit for a calm home office or a light-filled dining space, where the painterly textures introduce visual interest without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

Because the brushwork carries a lovely sense of texture and movement, we suggest keeping large furniture pieces simple and grounded. Low-backed seating in neutral linen or unadorned light oak cabinetry allows the artwork to set the mood of the room. Introduce soft textural accents like a woven wool rug or understated ceramics in warm sand and stone tones to reflect the coastal elements of the design.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on soft sky blue, chalky white, slate grey, sandy beige, and subtle blush highlights. To complement the mural, consider painting adjacent walls or skirting in warm off-white, pale linen, or a gentle mineral grey. For deeper contrast, dark charcoal or soft navy textiles can pick up the rocky tones in the foreground.
