Wallpaper - Autumn Grass Green

Created by Avery Tillmon, our Autumn Grass Green wallpaper brings an expressive, meadow-inspired aesthetic to the wall with fluid watercolour-like brushwork and delicate splatters. Slender grass blades rise from the base in varying tones of sage, olive, moss green, and muted amber-gold against an airy, off-white textured backdrop. What we particularly appreciate about this design is the balance between vertical botanical lines and the soft, diffused washes of colour, which together create an open and tranquil visual atmosphere. Like all of our wallpapers, it is custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

In a bedroom or dedicated meditation room, this wall mural works wonderfully as a feature wall behind a low-profile bed or low seating. The vertical growth of the painted stems draws the eye upward, giving walls a heightened sense of openness without overcrowding the space. Because the upper portion of the design dissolves gently into a neutral, airy ground, the wallpaper introduces natural movement while preserving a quiet, spacious feel. In rooms with soft daylight, the delicate shifts between the pale gold and varied green tones become subtly pronounced throughout the day.

Styling it

When styling around Autumn Grass Green, we suggest embracing an organic modern or contemporary aesthetic that complements the fluidity of the motif. Low-profile furniture in light or warm wood tones works well along the wall, allowing the upward movement of the grass stems to remain clearly visible. For textiles, simple unpatterned weaves in linen or cotton help maintain an uncluttered environment where the artistic brushstrokes take centre stage.

Colour combinations

Our mural wallpapers feature a soft palette rooted in earthy sage, moss green, subtle ochre, and warm off-white. To build a harmonious room scheme, consider pairing the wallpaper with adjacent painted walls in warm ivory, pale stone, or soft oat. If you prefer deeper contrast, furniture or architectural trim in muted moss green or warm clay will pick up on the earthy undertones within the painterly grasses without overwhelming the space.
