Our Amphi wallpaper brings the grandeur of classical antiquity into modern interiors through a detailed photographic view of an ancient Roman theatre. The composition balances the sweeping curves of tiered stone seating on the left with tall, weathered colonnades on the right, opening out towards distant town rooftops and a clear blue sky. Earthy ochre, warm sand and sunlit stone tones define the palette, cast in crisp daylight that highlights the aged architectural textures. Produced as a made-to-measure design on our PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure, it adds depth, architectural character and an open sense of perspective to a feature wall.

In the room

Because of the strong architectural perspective and distinct diagonal lines created by the tiered seating and colonnade, we see this design working best on an expansive, relatively uninterrupted wall. In a living room, hallway or dedicated study, positioning the mural where you can take in the entire scene allows the sense of open space and depth to unfold properly.
