Wallpaper - Fiddle Leaf I

Our Fiddle Leaf I wallpaper brings a botanical composition into the room through seven elongated leaves painted in soft grey and army green watercolour tones. Created by Haley Knighten, the design features visible leaf veins and subtle dark accents set against a clean white background, giving the artwork a restrained, hand-painted look. The open placement of the foliage creates a calm visual balance that lets each leaf silhouette stand out clearly. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

We see this mural wallpaper working particularly well on a main feature wall in a bedroom or living room, where the vertical rhythm of the leaves has space to breathe. Because the motifs are set against an open white ground, the wallpaper introduces an organic botanical feel without visual clutter. In a bedroom, placing the design behind a headboard frames the bed naturally while keeping the overall atmosphere quiet and tranquil. For living rooms, an uninterrupted wall section allows the spacing between the leaves to be appreciated in full, especially where natural daylight highlights the gentle shifts between the soft grey and earthy green pigments.

Styling it

To complement the botanical watercolour aesthetic, we suggest pairing the wallpaper with simple, clean-lined contemporary furniture. The quiet tones work naturally alongside light-toned woods such as ash or pale oak, which reflect the earthy quality of the army green shades. We would keep large upholstered pieces in neutral tones, allowing the graphic leaf shapes on the wall to remain the central focus. Selecting understated ceramics and linen textiles helps mirror the soft, painted character of the artwork without competing with its form.

Colour combinations

The palette within the wallpaper centres on muted army green, subtle grey, and clean white. To build a cohesive interior, we recommend drawing out the soft grey-green shades across adjacent painted walls, or using crisp off-white on skirting boards and trims to harmonise with the background. For subtle accent touches, muted olive, sage, or soft charcoal create a balanced tonal connection with the darker painted accents in the leaf stems and veins.
