Wallpaper - Block Print Water Lily Stripes, Pink

Our Block Print Water Lily Stripes wallpaper by RNM Arts brings a rhythmic floral composition onto a deep black background. Soft pink lotus flowers, delicate buds, and muted olive green lily pads rise in vertical symmetry, interspersed with slender botanical stem details. The motif carries the visual character of traditional woodblock printing, with gentle texture and carved-looking linework giving the repeat its artisanal feel. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design offers a balanced vertical stripe that adds depth and understated elegance to an interior.

In the room

The vertical alignment and dark backdrop make this wallpaper particularly effective for framing specific zones within a home. In a dining room or bedroom, we see it working beautifully on a main feature wall behind a bedstead or sideboard, where the central water lily clusters have room to sit at eye level. Because the motif is arranged in clear vertical stripes rather than an all-over dense scatter, it draws the gaze upwards, making it equally fitting for rooms with standard ceiling heights. In a hallway or entryway, the rhythm of the repeating botanical stems provides a welcoming sense of structure along longer walls.

Styling it

To complement the artisanal, block-print aesthetic, we recommend pairing this design with furniture that shares its honest, grounded character. Warm wood tones such as dark stained ash, walnut, or aged teak echo the organic feel of the stems while sitting comfortably against the dark backdrop.

Keep upholstery and larger textiles relatively calm so the graphic repeat remains the focal point. Matte black metal accents or muted antique brass hardware can subtly mirror the dark background and the delicate linework without overwhelming the room.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper centres on dusty rose pink, muted mossy green, and deep charcoal black. When choosing surrounding paint colours or furnishings, you can lean into the contrast or soften it:

• Soft chalky pinks or warm off-whites on adjacent walls will pick up the petals and keep the surrounding space bright and airy.
• Deep forest greens, olive tones, or rich charcoal paint will create an immersive, cocooning atmosphere that lets the pink blossoms stand out cleanly.
• Muted taupe or linen neutrals offer a gentle bridge for woodwork and larger upholstered pieces.
