Wallpaper - Wild Green Leaves

Our Wild Green Leaves wallpaper brings a lush cluster of tall banana leaves together in rich layers of fern green and earthy botanical tones. We designed this motif by combining sketch-like outlines with softer, watercolour-inspired fills and subtle lighter streaks along the veins, giving the foliage an artistic, illustrative depth. Set against a pale grey textured-look ground, the overlapping elongated leaves create vertical movement and an enveloping natural rhythm without overwhelming the room. Each of our mural wallpapers is made to measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

In a living room, we love using this design across a main feature wall behind a sofa or along a dedicated reading corner where the vertical stretch of the banana leaves can draw the eye upward. The layered botanical composition also makes it a natural fit for a calm meditation space or an uncluttered bedroom wall. Because the pattern has a strong upward flow and balanced spacing, it works just as comfortably across a wide, uninterrupted accent wall as it does framing a quieter seating area.

Styling it

To let the leafy botanical artwork lead the space, we would pair our wall murals with simple, grounded furniture in warm natural timber or painted neutral finishes.

• Keep large upholstery in understated, solid woven fabrics such as off-white, oat, or muted stone to balance the busy leaf silhouettes.
• Introduce warm wood furniture, like light oak or warm-toned mid-century pieces, to complement the organic greens.
• Layer in accents made of terracotta, unglazed ceramic, or matte brass to pick up on the earthy, heritage-inspired character of the drawing style.

Colour combinations

The design itself centers around deep fern greens, softer leafy mid-tones, and an understated pale grey background. When choosing paint for adjacent walls or woodwork, soft stone greys, muted chalk whites, or gentle off-whites harmonise naturally with the backdrop. For a deeper, more enveloping feel, dark forest green or warm olive on skirting boards and doors ties directly into the deepest shades of the foliage.
