Wallpaper - Quirky

Designed by Cheryl Warrick, our Quirky wallpaper brings together abstract geometric forms with an expressive, graphic rhythm. Circles, triangles, ovals, and arches overlap across the composition, detailed with delicate stripes, stippled dots, and soft watercolour-like gradient shading in charcoal grey and neutral monochromatic tones. The density of the overlapping elements gives the pattern a dynamic, artistic presence without feeling chaotic, making it a distinctive choice for an accent wall. Like all our wall murals, it is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, making it straightforward to hang.

In the room

In a living room or a dedicated home art studio, this design works especially well as a feature wall behind a main seating area or a creative workstation. Because the geometric motifs and soft gradient washes create plenty of visual interest across the surface, we suggest placing it on a wider, uninterrupted wall where the full interplay of overlapping shapes has room to be seen. In larger open spaces, the neutral charcoal palette allows our mural wallpapers to define a specific zone, such as a reading nook or dining corner, while maintaining a light and balanced atmosphere throughout the wider interior.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this wallpaper with clean-lined, contemporary furniture that echoes its modern, artistic spirit. Low-profile seating with simple silhouettes helps ground the wall without competing with the rhythm of the arches and circular forms.

For surrounding textures, matte black metal accents and warm, unpainted light wood surfaces create a grounded counterbalance to the charcoal tones. Keeping upholstery in quiet, solid textures lets the detailed patterns of stripes and dots on the wall remain the central visual focus of the room.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper centres on a refined monochromatic palette of charcoal grey, soft faded neutral washes, and clean off-white.

To build a cohesive palette around it, consider painting adjacent walls in warm off-white, chalky limestone, or a soft pale stone to complement the lighter areas of the motif. If you prefer a bolder, more dramatic scheme, deep charcoal or slate grey on surrounding woodwork and skirting boards will frame the mural and enhance the graphic depth of the shapes.
