Wallpaper - My Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Our My Pumpkin Pie Recipe wallpaper by Farida Zaman brings an illustrated recipe card onto the wall with hand-lettered text and painted illustrations. Set against a clean white background, the composition features an illustrated whole pumpkin pie on a soft blue cake stand alongside an individual slice on a matching plate, complete with swirls of cream and full baking instructions in freehand script. Printed to order on our made-to-measure, PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it offers a warm, characterful mural wallpaper design that works wonderfully as a kitchen feature.

In the room

We love this design for a kitchen, pantry, breakfast nook or dining area where the culinary subject matter feels completely at home. Because the layout combines clear blocks of text with painterly focal points, we would give it an uninterrupted wall near a dining table or above open shelving where the handwritten steps and illustrations can be read comfortably. The white ground keeps the design bright and legible, allowing the warm pumpkin tones and cornflower blues to stand out without overwhelming a compact space.

Styling it

The charming, hand-crafted character of the artwork pairs naturally with relaxed, country-inspired or modern farmhouse interiors. We would balance the graphic quality of the recipe with painted shaker cabinetry, warm wooden worktops or open shelves holding everyday pottery. Simple ceramic tableware and uncomplicated details let the illustration take centre stage while complementing the warm baking theme.

Colour combinations

The design is anchored by warm pumpkin orange, baked crust tones, soft cornflower blue and rich ink black over an off-white background. For surrounding walls and kitchen joinery, we suggest soft creamy whites or pale warm neutrals that echo the background. Muted warm blues provide a lovely dialogue with the cake stand and plate, while warm honey-toned timber or accents in soft cinnamon can draw out the rich autumnal colours of the pie itself.
