Wallpaper - Burgundy Wine Aperitif Poster

Our Burgundy Wine Aperitif Poster wallpaper draws inspiration from classic turn-of-the-century advertising prints. Set against a deep navy background, the design features bold yellow typography and a dancing figure celebrating a bottle of wine in rich burgundy tones. The graphic composition creates a striking focal point, balancing historic French poster artwork with clear visual contrast. Produced as made-to-measure mural wallpapers, each order is printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, making it straightforward to install and scale to your room.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working especially well in social areas of the home, such as a dining room or an open-plan kitchen. Because the artwork functions as a large vintage poster composition, it benefits from an uninterrupted wall area where the central figure and typography can be seen in full. Placing it along a feature wall by a dining table naturally anchors the space and gives the room a lively, welcoming character. In a kitchen, positioning the design away from tall cabinetry allows the bold navy backdrop and warm burgundy details to stand out without feeling crowded.

Styling it

To complement the turn-of-the-century aesthetic, we suggest pairing this design with warm, classic furnishings. Darker wood furniture, such as a walnut or mahogany dining table, picks up the deep tones in the print and grounds the space. Simple glassware, bistro-style dining chairs, and warm ambient lighting help echo the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional French cafe without overwhelming the central illustration.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is defined by its deep navy background, bright yellow lettering, and rich burgundy accents. To create a balanced scheme around it, we recommend using soft off-white or muted cream on adjoining walls and woodwork, which softens the high contrast of the navy. For furniture or soft furnishings, warm amber, mustard, or deep wine tones pick up the secondary colours within the print, tying the entire palette together naturally.
