Wallpaper - Kala Flowers Green on White

Our Kala Flowers Green on White wallpaper by Sue Schlabach presents a delicate, heritage-inspired botanical repeat with the visual character of traditional block printing. Set against a crisp white ground, soft green and mint foliage intertwines with stylised blossoms, leafy tendrils, and scattered sprigs. We particularly like how the balance between fine outlines and textured colour infills gives the pattern a breezy, tranquil rhythm across the wall. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design brings a fresh, classic atmosphere into residential interiors.

In the room

Because of its balanced, flowing repeat and light background, we see this design working beautifully across all four walls in a bedroom or guest room where you want to create an airy, restful retreat. In a living room, it performs just as well on an accent wall behind a sofa, introducing rhythmic botanical pattern without dominating the space. The open structure of the motif also suits smaller, more intimate spaces like a dressing room, where the detailed floral work can be enjoyed up close without overwhelming compact wall areas.

Styling it

We would pair this botanical wallpaper with furnishings that complement its historic, decorative charm. Painted wooden furniture in soft ivory, off-white, or muted sage balances the lighter tones in the pattern, while warm antique timber adds grounding contrast. Light natural fabrics such as unbleached cotton and soft woven upholstery keep the overall look relaxed, timeless, and uncluttered.

Colour combinations

The design is built around pale green, mint, and soft sage tones on a clean white ground. When choosing surrounding colours, we suggest soft chalky whites, gentle stone shades, or light mint paint on adjacent walls, woodwork, and skirting to maintain a seamless, light-filled aesthetic. For a touch more depth, subtle olive accents or muted pale grey tones on furniture and textiles work in effortless harmony with the green foliage.
