Wallpaper - Scintilla, Dune

Our Scintilla, Dune wallpaper brings a soft, flowing movement to the wall through gentle mineral-inspired waves and fine, stippled pointillist detail. Set in a warm palette of sandy beige, soft oat, and muted taupe, the composition relies on subtle tonal shifts rather than sharp contrasts, giving the surface a quiet, undulating rhythm. We particularly like how the fine pointillism creates visual depth without overwhelming the room, allowing the design to feel both textural and calm. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

Because of its low contrast and organic, horizontal flow, this is one of our wallpapers that works comfortably across all four walls of a room as well as on a single accent wall. In a living room or bedroom, we see it creating a calm, cohesive backdrop that ties the space together without competing for attention. The gentle waves of color drift across the wall, giving compact rooms a sense of continuous warmth and larger spaces an understated, grounded atmosphere.

In a dining room or home office, we would pair this design with simple architectural lines, where the soft, sand-dune movement softens the corners and adds depth behind shelving or a dining table. In generous natural daylight, the tiny stippled marks and subtle shading variations become clearer, while softer evening lamplight enhances the warm, sandy undertones across the surface.

Styling it

When styling around Scintilla, Dune, we suggest leaning into natural material contrasts and grounded silhouettes that reflect its earthy, mineral character.

We would pair this mural wallpaper with warm wood furniture, such as natural oak or warm walnut, which echoes the organic warmth of the taupe and oat shades. Keeping surrounding fabrics relatively simple, like unbleached cotton or slubby woven upholstery, lets the fine visual texture on the wall take center stage without creating visual clutter. Muted ceramics, matte black iron hardware, or soft brushed bronze accents work well to anchor the paler tones and give the room clear definition.

Color combinations

The wallpaper itself is composed of warm sand, pale oat, soft greige, and muted taupe.

To build a harmonious palette around it, we recommend drawing from these neutral tones for adjacent walls, baseboards, and window trim, opting for creamy off-whites or soft stone shades. If you want to introduce deeper contrast through furniture or larger textiles, muted terracotta, warm tobacco brown, or deep olive green complement the dune-like palette naturally without disrupting its quiet character.
