Wallpaper - Scintilla, Flint

Our Scintilla in Flint wallpaper brings together a quiet, tonal grey palette with an organic, flowing drift of fine visual texture. Look closely and you will notice delicate stippled dots, subtle line work, and soft tonal clouding that mimic the gentle movement of smoke, water, or fine sand across a stone surface. The pattern stays subtle from a distance, giving the wall a layered, atmospheric depth rather than a rigid repeat. Made-to-measure and PVC-free, our wallpaper is printed on paper with a subtle physical structure that feels right at home in modern interiors.

In the room

Because the contrast is gentle and the movement horizontal, we see this working well across all four walls in a bedroom, living room, or home office without overwhelming the space. In a larger living area or open-plan layout, it acts as a soft, textured backdrop that warms up plain walls while letting artwork and lighting take center stage. For smaller rooms or an entryway, wrapping the entire room creates an intimate, cohesive enclosure where the subtle tonal shifts catch the changing light throughout the day.

Styling it

We would pair this understated grey with furnishings that bring warmth and tactile contrast. Natural oak or walnut furniture provides an organic counterpoint to the cool flint grey, while matte black accents or bronze lighting fixtures sharpen the room's silhouette. When choosing textiles, softer woven wools, layered bouclé, and crisp off-white linens sit comfortably alongside the wall's fine detailing without competing for attention.

Color combinations

The design itself features layered shades of medium flint grey, charcoal stippling, and soft slate undertones. When styling around it, we suggest pairing it with chalky off-whites or warm greys on adjoining trim and ceilings to maintain a serene, monochrome flow. If you want to introduce accent colors, muted earth tones such as warm terracotta, ochre, forest green, or deep navy complement the neutral base naturally.
