Wallpaper - Scintilla, Dry Moss

Our Scintilla, Dry Moss wallpaper brings a quiet, atmospheric depth to the wall through soft, undulating cloud-like drifts and fine stippled detailing. Designed by Wallism Studio, the motif layers earthy olive, moss green, and muted khaki tones with subtle variations in density, creating an organic sense of movement that feels fluid yet grounded. The low-contrast visual texture gives the surface a gentle, diffused presence rather than a rigid pattern repeat, making it an understated backdrop for a wide variety of interiors. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

Because of its soft visual flow and muted tonal range, we see this design working beautifully across an entire bedroom or living room rather than being limited to a single feature wall. In a bedroom, wrapping all four walls creates a cocooning, cohesive atmosphere that softens the boundaries of the room without overwhelming it. The gentle horizontal drift of the stippling also suits spaces with lower ceilings, helping to guide the eye smoothly across continuous wall surfaces. In an entryway or hallway where doors and openings frequently break up the wall space, the subtle, non-directional nature of the repeat ensures the composition remains balanced and intact.

Styling it

We would pair this earthy moss palette with warm, natural materials to enhance its organic character. Medium to dark wood tones, such as walnut or warm-stained oak, bring out the deeper undertones in the wallpaper and provide grounding contrast. For upholstery and textiles, smooth leather, matte ceramics, or brushed brass hardware introduce subtle variations in finish while keeping the overall room calm and cohesive.

Color combinations

The wallpaper itself centers on dry moss, muted olive, and warm khaki-brown undertones. Around it, we suggest working with creamy off-whites, warm taupe, or soft linen shades on ceilings and trim to keep the space feeling light and cohesive. For a richer, more enveloping feel, deeper tones like espresso brown, forest green, or charcoal work well for accent furniture and architectural details.
