Wallpaper - Sinuous Ceres,

In our Sinuous Ceres wallpaper, designer Marta Cortese brings an elegant field of tall grasses and delicate seed heads into focus. We particularly like how the composition builds upward from dense, curving blades into airy, branching stems against a soft cream background. Warm oat, wheat, taupe, and deep russet accents give the botanicals depth without creating heavy contrast. It is a graceful botanical design that brings natural movement to an interior while maintaining a quiet, refined atmosphere. Like all our wallpapers, this mural wallpaper is made to measure to your wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

Because the botanical forms rise naturally from the lower portion of the wall, we see this working exceptionally well in a bedroom behind a headboard or along a dining room wall. The upward flow of the grasses gives vertical rhythm to a space, making it a wonderful choice for rooms with standard ceiling heights where you want to draw the eye upward. In an entryway or living room, placing this wallpaper on a main feature wall lets the intricate details of the seed heads be appreciated at eye level. It also works beautifully on a dining wall where lower furniture, such as a sideboard or dining table, sits comfortably in front of the base of the design without interrupting the delicate foliage above.

Styling it

We would pair this design with warm, understated furnishings that let the botanical linework take center stage. Natural light woods, such as bleached ash or light oak, echo the organic wheat and oat tones of the grasses. Simple upholstered furniture in unbleached linen or textured cream fabrics complements the gentle palette. To connect with the deeper accents in the motif, we would bring in small touches of warm terracotta, rich walnut, or brushed bronze hardware. Keeping surrounding decorative pieces relatively simple helps maintain the serene, airy mood of the wall.

Color combinations

The design itself is built on warm neutrals, blending pale cream, sandy beige, soft taupe, and rich russet tones. For surrounding painted walls, we recommend pairing it with warm off-whites, creamy linen shades, or muted biscuit tones to create a cohesive, seamless backdrop. If you prefer a richer contrast on adjacent walls or trim, deeper shades of soft clay, warm caramel, or muted earthy umber will pick up the darker blades of grass and ground the room beautifully.
