Wallpaper - Sinuous Ceres, Soft Fawn

Our Sinuous Ceres, Soft Fawn wallpaper, designed by Marta Cortese, brings an airy, meadow-like rhythm to the wall through tall wild grasses and delicate seed heads. The composition rises vertically from the base, balancing broader, curving blades with fine botanical details across the upper portion of the design. Rendered in a quiet palette of soft fawn, warm beige, gentle taupe, and subtle muted brown against a pale background, it creates a grounded yet light botanical atmosphere. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the motif grows upward from the floor with open negative space toward the top, we see this working particularly well on a feature wall in a bedroom or behind a dining table. In a living room, placing the design on a wider uninterrupted wall allows the sweeping curves of the grasses to stretch out naturally across the space. The soft, tonal contrast keeps the pattern from feeling overwhelming, making it equally comfortable across multiple walls in a calm guest room or home office where you want an organic presence without sharp visual boundaries.

Styling it

We would pair this design with furniture that echoes its natural, uncomplicated lines. Clean-lined pieces in warm wood or light-painted finishes sit comfortably alongside the grass motif without competing for attention. To balance the vertical movement of the leaves, we suggest keeping larger upholstered furniture in solid, neutral fabrics. Gentle, diffused room lighting highlights the subtle tonal shifts between the foreground blades and the delicate seeds above.

Color combinations

The palette within the wallpaper centers on soft fawn, warm oatmeal, and gentle taupe, accented with muted, deeper brown tones in the shadows of the stems. Around the room, we would look toward warm off-whites, soft linen tones, and pale neutral paint colors for adjoining walls and trim. If you want to introduce a touch of contrast, deeper espresso accents or soft earthy ochres pick up the darker elements in the botanical illustration nicely.
