Wallpaper - Liria Eden, Vanilla

Our Liria Eden, Vanilla wallpaper, designed by Marta Cortese, presents a peaceful woodland clearing illustrated with graceful hares, resting deer, perched birds, and delicate botanical foliage. Rendered in soft vanilla, cream, and gentle grey-taupe line work, the mural wallpaper balances detailed tree canopies with an open upper space that lets the room breathe. Subtle ornamental borders along the base ground the illustrated scenery, while soft tonal transitions give the forest depth without overwhelming visual contrast. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to your dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully across an accent wall in a calm bedroom, a welcoming living room, or a serene nursery. Because the lower half carries most of the intricate woodland detail while the upper half remains soft and open, the wallpaper sits exceptionally well behind lower furniture such as a headboard or a low-profile sofa. In a larger living room or dining area, giving our wall mural an uninterrupted wall allows the narrative flow of bounding hares and quiet foliage to unfold naturally across the space.

In rooms with plenty of daylight, the fine line work of the leaves, birds, and tree trunks reveals its delicate craftsmanship. Under warmer artificial lighting in the evening, the gentle vanilla and cream tones create an enveloping, quiet atmosphere that feels grounded and peaceful.

Styling it

To complement the delicate illustrated style of our wallpaper, we suggest keeping surrounding furnishings understated and texture-led. Soft upholstered seating in natural woven fabrics like bouclé, wool, or unbleached linen echoes the design’s tactile feel without competing for visual attention.

For furniture and architectural accents, pale woods such as bleached ash, natural oak, or painted off-white woodwork harmonize effortlessly with the vanilla background. Darker, finely proportioned accents, such as blackened bronze light fixtures or slender side tables, can subtly pick up the delicate taupe outlines in the trees and animals, grounding the room without disrupting its serene balance.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is built around warm vanilla cream, soft bone, and gentle grey-brown line work. When considering surrounding paint colours for adjacent walls, trim, or doors, we suggest staying within a similarly muted tonal spectrum:

Soft alabaster, warm off-white, and pale biscuit create a seamless transition that lets the wall mural feel like an organic part of the architecture. If you prefer subtle colour contrast, muted olive, soft sage, or dusty taupe on surrounding woodwork or upholstery bring out the natural woodland motifs while maintaining a calm, cohesive room scheme.
