Wallpaper - Liria Eden, Moonstone

Created by Marta Cortese, our Liria Eden, Moonstone wallpaper captures an enchanting woodland scene rendered in soft, tonal line work and delicate silhouettes. Leaping hares, gentle deer and birds resting amongst ferns and leafy branches unfold across a calm forest backdrop, grounded by an intricate botanical border along the base. The palette is intentionally muted, blending gentle moonstone grey, warm stone and soft off-white to create a low-contrast landscape with a classic, tapestry-inspired feel. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions, printed PVC-free on wallpaper paper featuring a subtle surface structure.

In the room

In a master bedroom, we love this design positioned along the main wall behind the bed, where the horizontal movement of the wildlife and foliage naturally frames the room without overwhelming it. The low visual contrast makes it just as appealing for a dining room or a quiet sitting room, especially across a wider uninterrupted wall where the full woodland composition has space to breathe. Because the lower border anchors the design, we would keep lower furniture relatively open, allowing the detailed foreground botanicals and animals to remain visible. In rooms with generous daylight, the delicate differences between the pale grey and warm stone layers come through with subtle clarity.

Styling it

Because our mural wallpapers carry such fine illustrative detail, we suggest keeping surrounding furniture clean-lined and quiet. Pieces in pale natural oak, painted off-white or soft warm grey sit comfortably alongside the woodland motif without competing for attention.

For textiles, simple woven linens and textured wools in warm neutral tones complement the gentle atmosphere of the artwork. Choosing matte ceramic accents and brushed brass or muted pewter hardware brings subtle depth to the room while preserving the restrained, storybook elegance of the scene.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built from a subtle palette of soft moonstone grey, muted taupe-grey, warm stone and gentle chalky white.

When choosing colours for surrounding walls and woodwork, we recommend continuing that quiet tonal warmth. Soft off-whites, pale limestone and gentle pebble greys work naturally on adjoining painted surfaces. If you want to introduce a touch more depth in soft furnishings or cabinetry, consider a muted sage green, faded lichen or a dusty slate grey to echo the leafy woodland atmosphere.
