Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Oxblood

Our Crocker Parchment, Oxblood wallpaper brings together a grid of subtle parchment-like panels in a deep, nuanced oxblood tone. What we particularly like about this design is the quiet variation across the tiled square composition, where soft mottling and gentle tonal shifts give the rich burgundy-brown surface an atmospheric visual depth. It delivers a structured yet painterly character that works beautifully across an entire room or as a grounded backdrop on a single feature wall. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made to measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working particularly well in dining rooms, living rooms, studies, or bedrooms where a deeper, more intimate atmosphere is desired. Because the panel grid is balanced and the contrast between adjacent tiles is gentle, the repeat sits comfortably across all four walls without feeling overwhelming. In a dining area or library, wrapping the entire room creates an enveloping, considered feel, especially around architectural features like alcoves, shelving, or chimney breasts. In a bedroom or lounge, using it on the main wall behind a bed or sofa provides a solid anchor that frames your key furniture pieces.

Styling it

The deep, grounded palette pairs naturally with both classic and modern interior styles. We would combine this design with rich, warm woods like walnut or mid-toned oak, which complement the reddish-brown undertones of the oxblood surface. For furniture and upholstery, textured neutrals such as bouclé, wool, or heavyweight linen help balance the deep tone of the walls. Brass, bronze, or aged metal light fixtures and hardware also pick up on the warmth of the background, bringing small points of contrast into the space without clashing with the subtle grid.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on deep oxblood, mahogany, and warm maroon shades with subtle burnt-umber variations across each panel. For surrounding surfaces, adjacent walls, and woodwork, we suggest pairing it with soft warm whites, chalky bone, or muted stone tones to keep the contrast clean and architectural. If you prefer a moodier, tonal palette, deep espresso browns, dusty terracotta, or forest greens work effortlessly alongside the oxblood base.
