Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Amber Ochre

Our Crocker Parchment, Amber Ochre wallpaper brings the understated character of vintage parchment panelling to the wall. Designed in-house by Wallism Studio, the motif features subtle grid panel divisions layered over a mottled, cloud-like wash of warm amber, deep ochre, and earthy brown tones. The gentle tonal shifts create a weathered, aged visual texture without relying on heavy contrast, giving walls a grounded, architectural backdrop. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made to measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We love how this design brings warmth and visual depth to spaces meant for quiet reflection or entertaining. In a dining room, living room, or study, the warm amber ochre tones create an enveloping, intimate atmosphere that feels grounded and welcoming. Because the panel grid provides a structured rhythm while the cloudy parchment texture softens the overall effect, it works beautifully across all four walls of a room or as a continuous backdrop behind a dining table or low shelving.

In rooms with softer, warm evening lighting, the nuanced undertones of brown and ochre deepen, giving the space an inviting glow. Across larger uninterrupted wall areas, the panel grid repeat has room to breathe, establishing a sophisticated architectural cadence without overwhelming the decor.

Styling it

When styling around Crocker Parchment, Amber Ochre, we recommend leaning into rich, tactile materials and mid-to-dark finishes that complement its classic, scholarly mood.

Warm-toned woods like walnut, aged oak, or dark-stained timber harmonize effortlessly with the amber and brown base. Introduce understated accents in antiqued brass or blackened bronze to echo the vintage, panelled aesthetic. For seating and upholstery, woven wools, rich velvet, or warm neutral bouclé add welcoming contrast against the flat grid geometry of the wall mural.

Colour combinations

The palette within the wallpaper centres on deep amber ochre, warm tobacco brown, and softer caramel undertones.

To create a cohesive scheme, we suggest pairing it with surrounding woodwork, ceilings, or adjacent walls in warm off-whites, creamy parchment shades, or muted biscuit tones. If you prefer a moodier, monochromatic look, deep espresso browns and rich chestnut trims frame the wallpaper handsomely. For a refined accent colour in decorative accents or soft furnishings, muted olive green, burnt terracotta, or deep rust bring out the warmer ochre pigments.
