Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Parchment Cream

Created by designer Marta Cortese, our Kasumi Garden, Parchment Cream wallpaper brings an intricate botanical garden scene across an expansive panoramic composition. Dense flowering shrubs, delicate bamboo stalks, and stylized clouds rise from a scallop-bordered foreground against a warm parchment background. The motif pairs detailed blossoms in soft cream, rose, yellow, and cornflower blue with deep charcoal and muted bronze scalloped hill motifs along the base. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design offers a calm, scenic atmosphere suited to accent walls and full rooms alike.

In the room

Because the composition builds vertically from a darker, densely layered base up into open clouds and slender bamboo, we see this working exceptionally well on a main feature wall in a living room, dining room, or behind a headboard in a primary bedroom. The lower section anchors furniture placed against the wall, while the taller bamboo and airy parchment sky create a light, open feeling higher up. For rooms with standard or tall ceilings, the horizontal progression gives the space a sense of depth and continuous visual rhythm.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this wallpaper with furniture that carries simple silhouettes and quiet materials, allowing the layered garden illustration to remain the primary decorative element. Clean-lined wood pieces in natural ash, bleached oak, or light walnut harmonize gently with the warm parchment backdrop without competing with the detailed botanical linework. Surrounding upholstery in textured woven fabrics, matte linen, or soft off-white cotton complements the historic scenic feel while keeping the overall room feeling grounded and modern.

Color combinations

The motif features a warm parchment cream background grounded by deep charcoal and muted amber-gold along the base, filled with blossoms in ivory, blush pink, soft buttercup, and pale iris blue. When selecting surrounding wall paint, we suggest gentle warm whites, soft ecru, or muted beige that pick up the background tone for a seamless transition. For trim, interior doors, or built-in cabinetry, a deep charcoal or faded slate creates a striking contrast that echoes the decorative scalloped shapes at the base of the design.
