Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Tea Leaf

Our Kasumi Garden, Tea Leaf wallpaper, created by Marta Cortese, presents an intricate botanical landscape rooted in a deep, moody olive green atmosphere. The composition builds upward from a dense tapestry of blooms along the base, featuring cream lilies, soft blush peonies, daisies, and delicate irises nestled among stylized cloud forms, before rising into slender bamboo canes and subtle drifting clouds in the upper background. What we especially like about this mural wallpaper is the balance between rich floral detail and tranquil open space in the upper portion of the design. Produced made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions, our wallpapers are printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture that brings depth to every botanical element.

In the room

Because the botanical weight of this design is concentrated across the lower and middle sections, it works exceptionally well on a feature wall in a living room behind a low sofa or in a dining room framing a credenza. The open, atmospheric tea-green background in the upper half gives the room vertical breathing room, keeping taller walls from feeling visually overcrowded. We also see this mural wallpaper creating a quiet, enveloping backdrop in a bedroom behind a headboard, where the detailed florals ground the lower wall while the bamboo silhouettes soften the view above eye level. In a hallway or entryway, giving this wall mural an uninterrupted wall allows the horizontal progression of garden layers and delicate cloud shapes to unfold across the space.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this design with furniture that has clean, low profiles so the intricate botanical layers remain visible. Natural wood tones such as warm walnut, aged oak, or dark-stained ash resonate beautifully with the earthy tea leaf green backdrop. For seating and upholstery, matte textures in oatmeal, muted flax, or charcoal help balance the ornate floral motifs without competing for attention. Understated decorative accents in antique brass or unglazed ceramic bring out the delicate warmth of the cream and blush blossoms.

Color combinations

The wallpaper features a grounded palette of deep tea-leaf green, soft olive, pale cream, warm ivory, and gentle blush, complemented by muted slate-gray cloud accents. For surrounding painted walls and woodwork, warm off-whites, soft bone, or muted sage-tinged neutrals create a seamless transition around the room. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out the deep olive or dark moss tone on adjacent trim, doors, or cabinetry creates a cohesive, grounded look.
