Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss

Our Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss wallpaper, created in collaboration with designer Marta Cortese, presents a botanical landscape grounded in deep moss and slate tones. Layered garden blooms in shades of cream, pale ivory, and soft blush rise upward through stylized scalloped cloud motifs toward slender bamboo stalks and delicate foliage. Subtle painted clouds drift across the moody forest background, creating a serene, painterly rhythm with a gentle sense of height. Our wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and are produced on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

We see this mural wallpaper working especially well across a main feature wall in a living room, dining room, or bedroom. Because the densest concentration of floral detail sits lower on the design before opening up to taller bamboo and drifting clouds above, low-profile furniture like a sofa, low sideboard, or bed frame sits naturally against the base without obscuring the open atmosphere above. In a dining area or an entryway with taller ceilings, the vertical reach of the bamboo stalks gives the room an intentional, grounding focal point.

Styling it

To complement the painterly character of the design, we suggest pairing it with clean-lined furniture that allows the detailed botanical artwork to lead the room. Warm, low-sheen woods such as walnut or smoked oak anchor the deep moss backdrop nicely, while upholstery in soft linen or wool echoes the quiet ivory and cream petals. Keeping surrounding decorative accessories minimal and organic in form helps maintain a calm, balanced environment without visual clutter.

Color combinations

The design itself features deep moss green, slate charcoal, and misty grey, balanced by soft cream, pale blush, and warm ivory in the flower blossoms. For adjacent walls and architectural trim, we recommend pulling out the lighter tones with a warm off-white, soft parchment, or muted mushroom. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, an earthy olive or deep charcoal pulled directly from the background creates a striking tonal transition across adjoining surfaces.
