Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Persimmon

Our Kasumi Garden, Persimmon wallpaper, created by designer Marta Cortese, presents an intricate botanical landscape rooted in a deep, warm persimmon backdrop. Dense clusters of ivory and cream blossoms, soft peonies, lilies, and delicate wild flowers rise from stylized scalloped borders at the base, tapering into slender bamboo stalks and soft atmospheric cloud formations above. The composition balances ornamental density near the floor with open, grounded warmth across the upper wall. Printed as made-to-measure wallpaper on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it creates an immersive focal point in living spaces and bedrooms.

In the room

We love how the horizontal movement of the floral border anchors a room. Because the most detailed botanical elements sit in the lower and mid-section of the motif, this mural wallpaper works exceptionally well along a wider uninterrupted wall in a living room, dining room, or behind a low bed frame in a primary bedroom. The open, terracotta-toned expanse at the top keeps the design feeling expansive rather than crowded, allowing taller wall heights to showcase the quiet silhouettes of the bamboo and clouds. In spaces where you want a distinct accent wall, the rich backdrop creates an inviting, enveloping atmosphere without overwhelming adjacent walls.

Styling it

To complement the rich botanical details, we suggest pairing this design with furniture that has clean, grounded silhouettes. Low-profile seating or minimalist credenzas ensure the flourishing garden motif remains fully visible across the lower portion of the wall.

Warm wood tones such as teak, walnut, or stained ash echo the earthy persimmon background, while upholstery in textured off-white, oat, or muted charcoal balances the floral forms. Matte dark metals or understated ceramic accents harmonize naturally with the stylized clouds and scalloped linework.

Color combinations

The wallpaper centers on a foundation of deep persimmon, burnt terracotta, and warm umber, layered with cream, soft ivory, pale butter yellow, and subtle sage and charcoal accents. When decorating around this palette, consider bringing warm linen whites or pale parchment onto surrounding walls and ceiling surfaces to highlight the floral blossoms. For a cozier, tone-on-tone setting, deep rust, warm taupe, or dark charcoal on trim and furniture will pull out the darker foliage and ground the entire room.
