Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Smoky Quartz

Our Ginkgo Folia in Smoky Quartz brings together rhythmic, fan-shaped ginkgo leaves with delicate botanical line work across a dense, layered repeat. What we particularly like about this design is the balance between its botanical inspiration and its clean, scalloped geometric motion. Rendered in muted smoky taupe, soft quartz gray, and charcoal outlines, the overlapping leaves create a sophisticated, textured visual rhythm that feels both classic and contemporary. Produced custom to your exact dimensions, our wallpapers are PVC-free and printed on paper featuring a subtle physical structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

The continuous, flowing structure of this wallpaper makes it versatile across a range of spaces. We see this working beautifully in a bedroom behind the headboard or wrapping a dining room to establish an inviting, enveloping ambiance. Because the leaf pattern is closely layered with low-to-medium contrast, it sits comfortably across all four walls of a living room or a study without overwhelming the space. In a hallway or entryway, the upward-fanning motif introduces movement and visual depth along narrower walls.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we suggest leaning into clean contours and tactile simplicity to complement the detailed line work.

• Pair the wallpaper with warm, natural wood finishes such as smoked oak, walnut, or muted ash to echo the earthy undertones of the smoky quartz palette.
• Introduce upholstered furniture in matte, woven fabrics like bouclé, brushed wool, or soft linen in ivory, charcoal, or taupe to balance the pattern's precision.
• Incorporate subtle metallic details, like brushed bronze or matte black lighting fixtures and hardware, which harmonize with the dark contour lines of the leaves.

Color combinations

Our Ginkgo Folia in Smoky Quartz features a nuanced palette of warm quartz taupe, dusty mushroom, and soft stone gray, outlined by deep charcoal. Around this wallpaper, we recommend coordinating with chalky off-whites or muted putty tones on baseboards and trim to maintain an open, refined look. For adjacent walls or cabinetry, deeper charcoal grays and rich espresso tones create a grounded, atmospheric contrast, while warm beige and greige keep the overall room quiet and cohesive.
