Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Rain

Our Ginkgo Folia, Rain wallpaper layers stylized ginkgo biloba leaves in an overlapping scalloped fan arrangement, creating a rhythmic botanical pattern with subtle Art Deco elegance. Rendered in a soothing palette of muted rain blue, slate grey, and gentle dusty denim tones, each leaf showcases fine radiating vein linework that adds intricate visual depth to the surface. The layered scale pattern produces a balanced cadence that feels structured yet organic across the wall. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, our wallpapers are easy to hang and designed to bring calm sophistication to any interior.

In the room

In a bedroom, we particularly like using Ginkgo Folia behind a headboard or across all four walls to create an enveloping, quiet atmosphere. The dense, interlocking leaf pattern carries enough detail to hold interest without overwhelming, making it an excellent backdrop for relaxation. We also see this wallpaper working beautifully in a dining room or an entryway, where the fan-like geometry can greet guests with tailored graphic poise. In spaces with ample natural daylight, the tonal gradations between the soft slate blue leaves and their deeper shadowed underlayers become especially legible, while under warm ambient lamp light in the evening, the pattern settles into a more cohesive, atmospheric tone.

Styling it

To complement the fan-shaped botanical geometry of this wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with furniture featuring clean lines and gentle curves. Mid-century modern or contemporary silhouettes in warm walnut or medium oak ground the cool blue tones and introduce a comfortable organic warmth. For surrounding accents, soft brushed brass or antiqued bronze hardware contrasts naturally against the slate-blue backdrop without competing with the detailed vein work of the leaves. We recommend keeping nearby upholstery in simple, solid neutral textiles such as off-white, oat, or charcoal to let the wallpaper remain the focal pattern in the room.

Color combinations

Ginkgo Folia, Rain centers on cool, muted tones of dusty denim, rain blue, slate grey, and soft charcoal outlines. When selecting adjacent paint colors for neighboring walls, baseboards, or ceiling trim, a crisp chalk white or soft cool grey creates a clean, architectural finish. For a deeper, more dramatic look, pairing the design with dark navy or charcoal grey woodwork frames the pattern and accentuates its shadowed depth. If you prefer introducing accent warmth into the surrounding space, muted terracotta, warm cognac leather, or ochre textiles offer an appealing complementary contrast to the rain-blue palette.
