Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Feather

In our Ginkgo Folia wallpaper in Feather, overlapping fan-shaped ginkgo leaves create an undulating, rhythmic botanical repeat. Delicate radiating vein linework brings subtle definition to each leaf, while gentle tonal variations between soft warm gray and pale greige give the layered foliage visual depth. The pattern balances graphic clarity with an airy, quiet character, making it easy to live with across smaller or larger spaces. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure, PVC-free, and printed on paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

The low-contrast composition and gentle rhythm make this wallpaper an adaptable backdrop for spaces where you want visual texture without visual noise. In a bedroom, we particularly like it on the wall behind the headboard, where the overlapping fan shapes provide a soft, grounding focal point. Because the pattern repeat is continuous and subtle, it also works beautifully wrapping around all four walls of an entryway, a powder room, or a home office. In an open living room or dining room, it brings character to larger uninterrupted walls while letting art and furnishings share the spotlight.

Styling it

Because Ginkgo Folia has a quiet botanical presence, we would balance it with furniture that has clean silhouettes and honest, warm materials. Pale woods like white oak, birch, or natural ash sit comfortably alongside the neutral tones of the leaves, keeping the room feeling open and light. If you prefer higher contrast, a darker stained wood table or charcoal iron accents will crisply outline the softer grays of the pattern.

When choosing textiles and upholstery, simple woven textures such as unbleached cotton, bouclé, or slubbed linen complement the fine lines of the foliage. Keeping large furniture pieces relatively plain allows the repeated ginkgo motifs to serve as the principal decorative layer in the room.

Color combinations

The wallpaper itself sits in a serene spectrum of muted grays, pale greige, and soft stone, anchored by subtle charcoal linework.

To create a cohesive, quiet scheme, you can pair it with off-white, chalk, or soft cream on adjacent painted walls and woodwork. If you want to introduce color, muted earth tones such as warm terracotta, ochre, or mossy olive green provide a natural, grounded contrast. Deeper neutrals like slate, charcoal, or washed black can also be used on architectural trim, window frames, or accent furniture to sharpen the room's profile.
