Wallpaper - Conoid Grain, Terre Verte

Our Conoid Grain, Terre Verte wallpaper brings an organic, graphic interpretation of timber grain into the room through layered green tones. What we particularly like about this design is the balance between fine vertical line work and fluid, concentric grain contours, creating a continuous visual rhythm across the wall. Rendered in muted earth greens ranging from soft sage undertones to deep pine line accents, the motif offers rich surface character without overwhelming the space. Printed as a made-to-measure design on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it works well as an accent wall or across multiple surfaces.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working especially well in living rooms, dining spaces, bedrooms and hallways where its vertical movement draws the eye upward. Because the repeat combines fine detail with broader wood-grain contours, it adapts naturally to both compact rooms and wider uninterrupted walls. In a dining room or behind a headboard in a bedroom, the rich green pattern establishes a grounded, calm atmosphere that anchors the surrounding layout. In hallways or entryways with higher ceilings, the continuous flowing lines accentuate the vertical height while bringing warm graphic interest to narrower wall sections.

Styling it

To let the rhythm of the grain take centre stage, we suggest pairing this design with furniture that has clean, uncomplicated profiles. Low-slung silhouettes in mid-century or contemporary styles sit comfortably against the vertical grain, ensuring the pattern remains visible and balanced.

When choosing surrounding materials, we would lean towards lighter woods like ash or bleached oak to create gentle contrast against the rich earth-green ground. Alternatively, dark walnut or smoked timber pieces tie closely into the deepest line work, creating a cohesive, architectural feel. For accents, unlacquered brass hardware or patinated bronze provides a subtle warmth that complements the green palette nicely.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper itself combines muted terre verte, soft moss, grey-green midtones and deep forest green contour lines.

To build a harmonious palette around it, we recommend pairing the design with soft, chalky off-whites or warm stone greys on adjacent walls, ceiling and trim. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping scheme, neighbouring walls painted in deep olive, muted spruce or dark slate pick up the darkest contours in the print. For textile and upholstery accents, warm rust, mustard ochre, or pale oatmeal linen provide an appealing natural contrast to the cool herbal greens.
