Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Marine Ivory

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper in Marine Ivory brings an elegant Art Deco rhythm to botanical fan forms. In this design, stylized ginkgo leaves overlap in a repeating scalloped pattern reminiscent of classic arch motifs. Crisp navy blue line work defines each fan with delicate interior veining, set against a soft ivory cream background. What we especially like about this wallpaper is how the graphic geometry balances organic inspiration, giving the wall a structured yet graceful presence. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

The scalloped, fan-shaped repeat makes this design remarkably adaptable across different wall layouts. In an entryway or powder room, the continuous geometric flow envelops smaller spaces without feeling overwhelming, providing a polished and welcoming backdrop. We also see this working beautifully in a bedroom behind a headboard or along an accent wall in a living room, where the rhythmic navy arcs lend tailored structure to the space. Because the motif is consistent and orderly, it easily handles walls broken up by doorways, windows, or architectural moldings.

Styling it

To complement the graphic character of the navy line work and warm ivory base, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with tailored furniture and balanced accents.

• Ground the room with rich wood tones like walnut or warm oak, which resonate with the classic Art Deco influence of the scalloped pattern.
• Choose upholstered seating in solid woven fabrics, such as creamy bouclé or deep navy velvet, to reflect the design's palette without competing with its linework.
• Incorporate warm brass or brushed gold lighting and hardware to echo the soft warmth in the ivory background and add a touch of refined shine.

Color combinations

The design itself is built on two primary tones: a deep, classic navy blue and a soft, muted ivory. When selecting adjacent wall paint, cabinetry, or trim colors, warm whites and off-whites that mirror the background keep the space feeling open and cohesive. For a more dramatic, layered look, pulling out the deep marine blue for baseboards, window trim, or adjoining doors creates an intentional, tailored framing effect. Soft camel, muted mustard, or subtle warm taupe also sit naturally alongside this palette.
