Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Forest

Our Ginko Folly, Forest wallpaper combines an Art Deco inspired fan motif with the organic silhouette of ginkgo leaves. Rendered in deep forest green against a soft off-white background, the repeating scallop pattern features delicate internal linework that gives each leaf a sense of fine structure. The balance between geometric rhythm and botanical detail creates a calm, tailored look on the wall. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made to measure to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, making it straightforward to hang.

In the room

The repeating fan structure gives this wallpaper a grounded, architectural character that works beautifully across full rooms or targeted accent walls. In an entryway or hallway, the upward arch of the ginkgo fans adds subtle height and movement to narrower spaces. In a dining room or living room, the balanced rhythm provides visual interest behind low furniture like credenzas or a sofa without overwhelming the space. Because the repeat is tidy and geometric, it also adapts effortlessly to spaces with architectural interruptions such as doors, windows, or paneling, where the pattern continues cleanly around corners.

Styling it

To complement the rich forest green and structured repeat, we would bring in elements that echo the design's vintage sophistication:

• Pair with warm, medium-to-dark wood finishes, such as walnut or rich teak, which naturally harmonize with the deep green botanical tones.
• Incorporate subtle brass or antique bronze hardware and lighting fixtures to pick up on the classic Art Deco geometry.
• Balance the detailed linework with tailored upholstery in smooth, solid fabrics such as velvet, boucle, or linen in neutral cream or charcoal tones.

Color combinations

The wallpaper is defined by a deep forest green and a clean, warm off-white. When choosing paint colors for adjacent walls, trim, or ceilings, a soft off-white or creamy neutral creates a seamless, classic transition. For a more dramatic, enveloping room, you can draw directly from the pattern and paint baseboards, doors, or window trims in a matching deep pine or olive green. Muted secondary accents in ochre, warm taupe, or soft charcoal also sit comfortably alongside this palette.
