Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Ochre Linen

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper brings together an Art Deco-inspired scallop geometry with the delicate, radiating veins of ginkgo leaves. Rendered in a warm ochre and soft linen palette, the repeating fan silhouettes interlock smoothly across the surface to create a rhythmic, balanced pattern. The gentle contrast between the golden ochre linework and the warm beige backdrop keeps the motif structured yet visually soft. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We find this geometric botanical repeat works especially well in spaces where you want a refined sense of order without overwhelming the room. In an entryway or hallway, the upward arch of the fan pattern draws the eye and gives narrow walls a sense of height. It also functions beautifully on a feature wall in a bedroom behind a headboard or surrounding a dining nook, where the rhythmic linework creates an engaging backdrop for lower-profile furniture. Because the color contrast is soft, you can easily wrap this pattern around all four walls of a powder room or home office without making the space feel crowded.

Styling it

To complement the geometric elegance of this design, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture shapes relatively clean and tailored. Mid-century silhouettes or contemporary pieces with rounded edges echo the curves of the ginkgo fans without competing for attention.

Warm wood tones like walnut or teak pair naturally with the golden ochre linework, grounding the wall and enhancing its warmth. For decorative accents, subtle touches of aged brass or matte black ironwork pick up the structured rhythm of the pattern, while simple woven textiles in neutral tones keep the focus on the wallpaper.

Color combinations

The wallpaper itself centers on warm ochre, soft flax, and sandy linen tones. When painting adjacent walls or trim, creamy whites, warm off-whites, and muted taupes provide a seamless continuation of the background shade. If you prefer deeper contrast in surrounding decor, muted olive greens, terracotta, or deep charcoal create a striking balance alongside the golden ochre motifs.
