Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Ivory Ebony

Our Ginko Folly wallpaper in Ivory Ebony brings a rhythmic, Art Deco-inspired fan pattern together with botanical detail. Delicate, fine-lined ginkgo leaves overlap in clean scalloped arcs, creating a graphic yet organic rhythm across the wall. The contrast between deep ebony linework and a soft ivory backdrop gives the motif sharp definition without feeling harsh. Printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, our wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions and are straightforward to hang.

In the room

The orderly, repeating scale of this design makes it adaptable across both compact and expansive spaces. In an entryway, hallway, or powder room, the scalloped geometry adds structure and visual interest to smaller, frequently passed walls. In a living room or bedroom, we like using it across a full accent wall behind a bed or sofa, where the continuous horizontal and vertical rhythm can establish a cohesive architectural backdrop. Because the repeat is balanced and medium in scale, it also sits comfortably on walls interrupted by doors, windows, or built-in cabinetry without losing its graphic identity.

Styling it

The clean geometry and botanical fan shape bridge vintage and contemporary interior styles with ease. We would pair this wallpaper with warm, tailored furniture silhouettes and rich wood finishes such as walnut or dark-stained oak to complement the ebony line work. Brushed brass or blackened bronze accents in lighting fixtures and hardware echo the crisp lines of the motif, while structured upholstery in warm neutral weaves keeps the surrounding space grounded.

Color combinations

The design itself is built on a high-contrast foundation of rich ebony black over warm, muted ivory. When planning surrounding wall colors and woodwork, warm whites, cream, and soft taupe create a seamless, low-contrast transition that allows the wallpaper to take center stage. For a bolder, moodier atmosphere, pairing adjacent trims or painted walls with charcoal, off-black, or deep espresso grounds the room and amplifies the dark outlines of the ginkgo fans.
