Wallpaper - Ginko Folly, Deep Olive

Our Ginko Folly, Deep Olive wallpaper pairs an Art Deco-inspired scalloped fan structure with stylized ginkgo leaves. Rendered in a rich, earthy deep olive green set against a soft off-white background, the repeating motif balances geometric order with botanical elegance. Fine radiating vein lines give each fan a light, delicate quality within the overarching pattern rhythm. Our wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, and designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

The rhythmic scale and repeating geometry of this design make it remarkably versatile across different spaces in the home. In an entryway, hallway, or powder room, the scalloped ginkgo fans create an immediate sense of tailored refinement without overpowering smaller wall areas. In a dining room or bedroom, we especially like using this design across a main feature wall behind a bed or dining table, where the repeating arches provide an elegant architectural backdrop. Because the pattern relies on balanced lines and an understated two-tone contrast, it also works beautifully across multiple walls in a study or living area where you want consistent decorative interest.

Styling it

The distinct Art Deco character of this wallpaper lends itself naturally to mid-century modern, classic contemporary, or vintage-inspired interiors. To complement the structured botanical shapes, we suggest choosing furniture with clean architectural lines or gentle curves, such as an arched mirror or rounded dining chairs. Warm brass or aged bronze accents pick up the earthy undertones of the deep olive beautifully, while warm wood pieces in walnut or teak bring out the richness of the palette. Keeping larger textiles in understated neutral tones allows the rhythmic pattern on the wall to remain the centerpiece of the room.

Color combinations

The primary palette centers on deep olive green and soft off-white. When choosing surrounding paint colors for adjoining walls, trim, or baseboards, creamy off-whites and soft warm ivories create a natural, seamless transition. For a more enveloping, dramatic look, matching adjacent millwork or doors to a deep moss or olive green enhances the depth of the space. Muted accents in warm ochre, soft taupe, or terracotta also pair gracefully with the olive tones to add warmth and variety.
