Wallpaper - Grain Clad, Teal

Our Grain Clad, Teal wallpaper brings the visual character of vertical timber panelling into a deep, atmospheric palette. Broad wooden planks run vertically across the design, detailed with subtle woodgrain swirls, fine organic lines and muted tonal shifts between dark teal, petrol blue and deep slate grey. The visual rhythm of the vertical panelling gives walls an architectural feel while keeping the overall impression refined and understated. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

We especially like this design on a wider feature wall in a living room, dining room or bedroom, where the full sequence of vertical planks creates a sense of height and continuous structure. Because the colour palette is deep and the contrast between planks is relatively low, our wall murals can anchor a room behind a sofa or headboard without visually overwhelming the space. In rooms with generous daylight, the subtle differences in the teal and slate woodgrain become easier to appreciate, while softer evening lighting deepens the overall mood.

Styling it

The architectural character of vertical panelling works naturally with clean-lined modern furniture, mid-century pieces or understated contemporary interiors. To balance the deep teal background, we would introduce warmer elements such as honey-toned oak, walnut or brass accents in lighting and hardware. Crisp neutrals or soft off-whites in surrounding painted woodwork help frame the wall and keep the room balanced.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on deep teal, smoky charcoal and cool grey-blue undertones. For adjacent walls and skirting, we recommend soft chalky whites, warm off-whites or pale greiges to provide a clear, fresh contrast to the dark timber effect. If you prefer a moodier, enveloping interior, deep petrol blues, dark olive or slate grey on surrounding walls and cabinetry can create a cohesive tonal scheme.
