Wallpaper - Sinuous Ceres, Sage Mist

Created by Marta Cortese, our Sinuous Ceres, Sage Mist wallpaper brings a meadow-inspired botanical landscape into the home with graceful vertical movement. The composition rises from a dense foreground of arching grasses, wheat-like stems, and delicate seedheads into an airy, muted background. Tonal sage greens, soft olive, pale khaki, and warm cream work together in a quiet, organic palette that keeps the detailed botanical illustration balanced and calm across the wall. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, our wall murals are straightforward to hang and easy to adapt to your specific room proportions.

In the room

We especially like how the vertical flow of the tall grass motifs draws the eye upward, giving living rooms, bedrooms, and dining spaces a grounded yet open feel. Because the lower section carries the visual weight of overlapping foliage while the upper portion fades gently into neutral cream tones, this mural wallpaper works beautifully behind low-profile furniture such as sofas, sideboards, or a low bedhead where the slender stems remain visible. In open-plan living areas or hallways, giving the design a wide, uninterrupted wall allows the full rhythmic sway of the meadow illustration to unfold naturally.

Styling it

To complement the delicate line work and botanical feel of this design, we suggest keeping surrounding furniture clean-lined and understated so the wall mural remains the visual focal point.

• Combine the wallpaper with warm timber furniture or painted cabinetry in soft off-white to maintain an organic, relaxed atmosphere.
• Layer woven wool throws or textured linen curtains in natural shades to echo the gentle movement of the wild grasses without competing with the motif.
• Choose understated decorative accents in matte ceramics or muted bronze metalwork rather than high-gloss or ornate surfaces.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a serene palette of sage green, soft khaki, muted olive, and warm cream. When planning surrounding walls, woodwork, and major furnishings, we recommend pulling out the gentle cream background for adjacent walls and trim to create a seamless transition around the room. For cabinetry, accent chairs, or upholstery, deeper moss greens and earthy taupe tones pick up the shadowy blades in the foreground, while pale parchment or warm biscuit shades keep the space bright and cohesive.
