Wallpaper - Sinuous Ceres,

Our Sinuous Ceres wallpaper, created by Marta Cortese, captures the fluid rhythm of wild grasses and delicate seed heads swaying in a gentle breeze. Rendered in a warm, tonal palette of beige, wheat, soft taupe, and deep russet accents against a pale neutral background, the botanical composition builds from taller ribbons of curving grass at the base into airy, detailed foliage above. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

Because the botanical motif rises organically from the bottom of the wall, we especially like this design as a feature wall behind a low bed frame, a dining table, or a tailored sofa. Placing lower-profile furniture against the wall leaves the delicate upper seed heads visible, allowing the upward movement of the pattern to open up the room visually. The vertical lines of the grass blades also work wonderfully in rooms with standard or lower ceilings, where they draw the eye upward and add a sense of height. In open-plan living areas or bedrooms, this wall mural anchors the space without overwhelming it, thanks to its soft, earthy tones.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we recommend echoing its natural warmth through tactile, organic materials and clean silhouettes.

• Pair the wallpaper with warm timber furniture such as white oak, ash, or light teak to complement the golden wheat and beige undertones in the grasses.
• Choose larger upholstered pieces and textiles in plain, natural weaves like raw linen or bouclé, keeping patterns minimal so the detailed mural remains the main visual focus.
• Bring in accents in blackened bronze or matte dark metal to pick up the deeper russet and brown curves within the foliage, giving the overall scheme subtle definition and depth.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is rooted in natural neutrals, featuring warm beige, oatmeal, soft wheat, muted grey-taupe, and rich russet tones. For surrounding painted walls and woodwork, warm off-whites, creamy stone, or soft travertine shades create a seamless, cohesive backdrop. If you prefer more contrast, deep umber, muted charcoal, or warm caramel on adjacent doors, skirting boards, or accent furniture will highlight the darker grass elements and ground the room.
