Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Parchment Cream

Created by designer Marta Cortese, our Kasumi Garden wallpaper in Parchment Cream presents a scenic landscape of blooming garden flowers, slender bamboo stalks, and soft cloud motifs set against a textured parchment-toned background. Deep indigo scalloped borders anchor the lower edge, framing an array of delicate white blossoms, soft pink roses, and muted blue petals that rise upward in airy, natural clusters. The visual composition draws inspiration from classical East Asian decorative screen traditions, balancing intricate floral detail with generous open space in the upper sky. Printed as made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings an elegant, painterly atmosphere to any interior.

In the room

Because the heaviest floral density and the dark scalloped framing are concentrated along the bottom half, we see this working especially well on a wide, uninterrupted feature wall. In a bedroom, placing the design behind a low headboard allows the taller bamboo canes and floating cloud forms to remain fully visible. It also suits a calm dining room or living room, where the horizontal garden layout creates a grounding focal point along the wall while leaving the upper room feeling open and light.

Styling it

To complement the delicate detailing in the motif, we suggest pairing this design with furniture that has clean, understated lines. Warm wood finishes, such as mid-tone oak or teak, echo the parchment backdrop without overwhelming the fine botanical line work. For surrounding textiles, choosing solid fabrics in cream, unbleached linen, or soft charcoal helps anchor the room, allowing the wallpaper to carry the decorative focus.

Colour combinations

The palette is built around warm parchment, cream, soft rose pink, and delicate blues, contrasted by the deep indigo of the scalloped border. For adjoining walls, woodwork, and skirting, soft off-white or a warm neutral beige creates a seamless transition. If you prefer a richer contrast, pulling out the deep indigo from the base for a painted cabinet, accent chair, or trim provides a striking, tailored look.
