Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss

Designed by Marta Cortese, our Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss wallpaper presents a lush, panoramic botanical landscape anchored in deep moss green and muted charcoal tones. Dense clusters of blooming garden florals, delicate lilies, and climbing blossoms rise from stylized, scalloped ground layers, while slender bamboo stems reach upwards into a misty, atmospheric backdrop. The hand-painted look and painterly shading give the composition a rich visual depth, balancing intricate foreground detail with expansive, quiet negative space above. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the botanical weight is concentrated across the lower portion and midsection, we particularly like this mural wallpaper on a feature wall in a bedroom behind a headboard or along a dining room wall. The taller bamboo stalks and floating clouds at the top give the upper wall a light, airy quality, preventing the deep green backdrop from overwhelming the space.

In a living room with generous natural daylight, the subtle tonal shifts between forest green, slate grey, and pale cream become easy to appreciate. On a wider uninterrupted wall, the sweeping landscape has space to unfold without interruption, making the room feel grounded yet expansive.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this design with quiet, low-profile furniture so the detailed botanical elements remain the clear focus of the room. Warm wood furniture, such as oak or mid-toned walnut, complements the organic earthy tones of the backdrop naturally.

To balance the deep palette and intricate floral clusters, we suggest keeping surrounding textiles simple and soft. Matte linen drapery, low-sheen upholstery, and minimalist lighting fixtures in antique brass or blackened metal work beautifully alongside the artwork.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper features a palette of deep moss green, charcoal, creamy off-white, soft peach, and pale sky blue.

For adjacent walls and woodwork, muted neutral shades such as soft linen, chalky warm white, or a very pale grey-green keep the overall scheme open and balanced. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, pulling out the deep forest green or slate grey for doors, skirting boards, or built-in cabinetry creates a cohesive, tailored interior.
