Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Tea Leaf

Designed by Marta Cortese, our Kasumi Garden, Tea Leaf wallpaper brings together an intricate botanical landscape of lush flowers, delicate foliage, and slender bamboo shoots against a deep tea-green background. Stylised cloud banks in muted grey and soft stone anchor the composition at the base, creating gentle layers of visual depth across the lower section while allowing the taller stalks and hazy cloud silhouettes to rise into the darker expanse above. Creamy ivory blossoms, pale blush roses, and soft blue floral accents provide luminous points of contrast throughout the dense garden scenery. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this mural wallpaper is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, produced on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because the botanical detail is concentrated across the lower and middle ground, we see this wall mural working particularly well on a main feature wall where the horizontal layering can unfold without interruption. In a living room or dining room, positioning the wallpaper behind a lower-profile sofa, sideboard, or dining table keeps the intricate floral beds visible while letting the quiet, deeper tea-green sky draw the eye upward to create a sense of height.

In a bedroom, our Kasumi Garden design makes a striking backdrop behind a low headboard. The darker green field brings an intimate, enclosing atmosphere to evening spaces, while the pale floral clusters catch daylight beautifully during the morning hours.

Styling it

We recommend balancing the botanical complexity of the design with furniture that has clean, grounded silhouettes. Warm, natural wood tones such as walnut or mid-toned oak echo the organic feeling of the flora without competing with the detailed drawing. Upholstered seating in quiet, solid textures—like a charcoal wool, muted olive velvet, or unbleached linen—allows the tapestry-like quality of the motif to remain the focal point. To complement the painterly character, brass or dark bronze hardware and simple ceramic vessels work naturally within the space.

Colour combinations

The design centres on deep tea-green, olive, and shadowy charcoal tones, illuminated by creamy white, pale cream, soft terracotta pink, and muted dusty blue in the botanical elements. For adjoining walls, we suggest soft stone neutrals or pale warm greys that draw directly from the stylised cloud formations at the base. If you prefer a more enveloping, dramatic room scheme, a deep olive or muted forest green paint on surrounding walls and woodwork creates a cohesive, wrap-around atmosphere.
