Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Sage Milk

Our Ginkgo Folia wallpaper in Sage Milk brings together an overlapping fan-leaf pattern with delicate, finely drawn vein detailing. What we particularly like about this design is the quiet balance between its botanical inspiration and geometric rhythm, where repeated ginkgo leaves layer softly across the wall in muted pale sage and milky off-white tones. The gentle contrast and fine line work give the surface an airy, elegant character without overwhelming the room. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, making it straightforward to hang in any home.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working beautifully across multiple walls in a bedroom or dining room, where the calm, continuous repeat can envelop the space without feeling heavy. Because the tonal contrast between the sage backdrop and the creamy leaves is low, the pattern holds its structure without demanding constant attention, making it equally suited to a feature wall behind a bedhead or sofa. In spaces with soft natural daylight, the intricate line work in the fan leaves becomes subtly visible, adding quiet depth to larger uninterrupted wall surfaces as well as smaller entryways or living areas.

Styling it

The botanical and almost Art Deco fan-like geometry of our Ginkgo Folia wallpaper pairs naturally with clean, contemporary furniture as well as softer classic interiors. We would combine it with light or warm mid-toned wood furniture to pick up on the organic motif, while keeping larger upholstery in understated textured fabrics. Subtle accents in brushed brass or muted ceramics complement the soft sage green tone without competing with the fine graphic details of the leaves.

Colour combinations

The design itself is grounded in pale sage green, soft muted grey-green undertones, and warm milky white. To build a cohesive palette around this wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with soft warm white or pale stone on adjacent walls, woodwork, and skirting. For a richer, more grounded look, deeper muted olive or moss greens on painted cabinetry or drapery echo the leaf tones nicely, while soft linen hues and chalky neutrals keep the overall scheme light and harmonious.
