Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Olive Haze

Our Ginkgo Folia, Olive Haze wallpaper layers fan-shaped ginkgo leaves in a rhythmic, scalloped arrangement across the wall. Delicate linear veining across each leaf brings a subtle botanical detail to the repeating motif, while the muted olive and soft sage tones create a gentle, low-contrast composition. The overall repeat feels calm and balanced, giving wall surfaces a textured, nature-inspired rhythm without overwhelming the surrounding room. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of its balanced repeat and soft olive palette, we find this design adapts easily to both compact rooms and larger spaces. In a bedroom, we like using it on the wall behind the headboard where the fan-like foliage creates an inviting, enveloping backdrop. The gentle contrast also means it sits comfortably across all four walls in a hallway, guest room, or home study without feeling visually busy. In rooms with plenty of daylight, the fine line work in each leaf stands out cleanly, while in softer evening lamplight, the pattern blends into a warm, harmonious surface.

Styling it

We suggest pairing this botanical pattern with clean-lined furniture and organic textures to echo the natural motif. Light oak, ash, or painted off-white furniture keeps the room feeling airy, while accents in warm brass or brushed bronze provide an appealing contrast against the olive green tones. Simple linen curtains, wool throws, and quietly textured upholstery work especially well here, allowing the repeating leaves on the wall to remain the central decorative feature.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper centres on soft olive greens, muted sage, and pale greyish-green undertones. Around the room, we recommend pairing it with warm off-whites, chalky creams, or pale stone on adjoining walls, woodwork, and skirting. For a richer, more tailored scheme, deeper tones such as forest green, moss, or dark charcoal grey on cabinetry and soft furnishings create a grounded, considered balance.
