Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Eucalyptus

Our Ginkgo Folia, Eucalyptus wallpaper brings together overlapping fan-shaped ginkgo leaves rendered in delicate line work and muted botanical tones. Designed by Wallism Studio, the motif layers soft eucalyptus greens and desaturated sage shades with fine, dark linework tracing the veins of each leaf. The scalloped, fan-like silhouettes create a calm rhythmic repeat reminiscent of Art Deco fan motifs, but softened by its hand-drawn botanical feel. Our wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

The dense yet tranquil layering of Ginkgo Folia makes it wonderfully versatile across residential spaces. We particularly like it in a bedroom, where the botanical rhythm and muted green tones create a gentle, grounding backdrop behind a headboard. Because the pattern relies on tone-on-tone harmony rather than sharp contrast, it easily carries across multiple walls without overwhelming a room, making it equally fitting for a calm home office, a restful guest room, or a cloakroom. On a wider living room wall, the layered canopy of leaves introduces depth and movement while remaining quiet enough to let larger furniture pieces breathe.

Styling it

The balanced, semi-stylised geometry of the ginkgo leaves allows this design to pair naturally with both mid-century forms and softer contemporary interiors. We like keeping the surrounding furniture visually grounded, using warm mid-tone woods such as walnut or warm oak to enrich the cool undertones of the eucalyptus palette.

For accents, darker patinated metals or antiqued brass provide a sharp, elegant counterpoint to the fine charcoal veining in the foliage. Keeping large upholstery in calm, tactile weaves like unbleached linen or bouclé lets the detailed line work on the wall remain the focal point of the space without visual competition.

Colour combinations

The motif itself is built on soft eucalyptus green, faded sage, and pale celadon, grounded by dark olive and charcoal line work. To create a continuous, enveloping feel, pair it with adjacent woodwork or walls painted in muted grey-greens or soft mineral off-whites. If you prefer a richer, more defined scheme, deep forest green on cabinetry or trim frames the pattern sharply, while earthy terracotta, rust, or warm camel accents bring out the subtle warmth in the leafy shadows.
