Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Porcini

Our Ginkgo Folia, Porcini wallpaper brings together an overlapping arrangement of fan-shaped ginkgo leaves, detailed with fine radiating line work. We designed the repeat with soft mushroom, beige, and warm taupe tones, creating a calm botanical rhythm that adds visual depth without overwhelming the eye. The gentle layering of the leaves gives the surface a quiet, structured movement that feels both organic and refined. Printed as a made-to-measure, PVC-free wallpaper, it brings subtle physical structure to the paper and is easy to hang across walls of any scale.

In the room

Because the botanical repeat is dense yet gentle in tone, we see this working particularly well in bedrooms and calm living rooms. In a bedroom, placing the wallpaper across the wall behind the headboard creates an enveloping backdrop that sets a peaceful tone for the space. In a living room, it works effortlessly on a wide, uninterrupted accent wall, where the repeating fan shapes have ample space to flow naturally. The soft mushroom tones also make it a lovely choice for hallways or dining areas, where it adds warmth without feeling heavy. Under warm evening lighting, the delicate leaf outlines pick up a subtle depth, while generous natural daylight highlights the layered tonal contrasts.

Styling it

To complement the delicate line work and muted warmth of this design, we suggest balancing the space with clean-lined furniture and tactile natural finishes. Simple wooden furniture in pale ash, white oak, or soft warm timber pairs beautifully with the earthy taupe tones of the foliage. For larger textiles such as upholstery, curtains, or bedlinen, we recommend sticking to understated, unpatterned fabrics in cream, warm stone, or washed linen to let the wallpaper remain the focal point. Brushed brass or muted bronze lighting and hardware also echo the warm undertones of the print without competing with its organic pattern.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on warm porcini, mushroom, biscuit, and soft sandy taupe tones. For surrounding painted walls, skirting boards, and architectural trim, we recommend pairing it with creamy off-whites, warm alabaster, or subtle greige shades that echo the background tones. If you want to introduce deeper contrasting accents in your furniture or decorative pieces, rich earthy tones like warm espresso, soft cocoa, or deep olive green create a grounded, sophisticated pairing against the light taupe foliage.
