Wallpaper - Scintilla, Sea Glass

Our Scintilla, Sea Glass wallpaper brings a soft, atmospheric quality to a room through subtle horizontal drift and delicate stippled detail. The composition builds a quiet sense of motion, layering pale sea glass green, muted sage, and gentle mineral grey tones that suggest rippling water or shifting mist. What we particularly appreciate about this design is its fine balance of low contrast and visual depth, offering texture without visual clutter. Like all our wallpapers, it is custom made-to-measure, PVC-free, and printed on paper with a subtle surface structure that is easy to hang.

In the room

Because the movement is gentle and the tonal shifts are understated, this wallpaper works naturally across an entire room or on a wide accent wall. In a bedroom, we find it creates a serene, grounded backdrop behind a bed, especially where the design has space to stretch across the main wall. In a living room or calm home study, the soft horizontal flow visually widens the space without competing with bookshelves, wall art, or daily life. In spaces with ample daylight, the pale green and grey nuances reveal subtle variations throughout the day, while softer evening lighting brings out the design's quiet, continuous rhythm.

Styling it

We recommend keeping the surrounding interior simple and tactile to let the delicate motif ground the room. Mid-tone or light natural wood furniture creates a warm, organic contrast against the cool sea-glass background. You can balance the soft visual flow of the walls with textured woven fabrics, such as coarse wool or slubby linen upholstery, keeping patterns minimal so the wallpaper carries the surface interest.

Colour combinations

The design centres on soft sea glass green, muted grey-green, and pale misty grey. To create a cohesive look around the wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with off-white or chalky pale grey on adjacent walls, ceiling, and woodwork. If you want to introduce subtle contrast, deeper eucalyptus green, charcoal accents, or warm neutral sand tones on larger furnishings work exceptionally well alongside this palette.
